Youth Classes
Our youth classes offer the opportunity for your child to learn practical self defense techniques while building confidence and self respect. Classes also promote patience, discipline, and teamwork.
More experienced children also help teach alongside adult instructors. Not only will your child learn from other kids in the same age group, but he/she will also develop a sense of leadership by helping younger and/or less experienced students.
Above all, safety is emphasized in the dojo. While seldom needed, gloves, headgear, and other pads are available to all children when sparring or participating in impact activities. Our dojo mats are of the highest quality and benefit from being reinforced with additional padding. All of our instructors are certified in first aid.

Class Fees/Requirements
$55.00 per month*
A karate/judo uniform is required and may be purchased from the school (prices vary depending on size). While there is no minimum age requirement, we ask--for the safety of all students--that your child is mature enough to follow basic rules and instructions.
* We want to make sure that both you and your child find his/her time at Nikko Jujitsu fun and worthwhile. Before enrolling or paying any fees, we encourage you to stop by and let him/her try a few classes for free. There are no obligations or contracts. A gi is not required at this point; shorts/sweatpants and a t-shirt are fine.
